Pig Tales by Iggy Oink – 3 – So here’s the thing about pigs – we are incredibly clean animals. We have light skin so we are susceptible to sun burn. We roll in the mud (just like an elephant) to protect our hides from the sun. And because we don’t sweat – we like to keep cool in the mud. If we have a big yard to live in we never soil our living space.
But what’s even better – if there is a lake or river nearby – we LOVE to swim – in fact we are in piggie heaven in the water! We’re very good swimmers – look out Michael Phelps!
